• Pay: $36–$40/hr depending on experience

 What You’ll Do 

You’ll be an essential part of each patient’s treatment experience, providing around-the-clock nursing care to individuals receiving treatment for: 

•  Substance use disorders (including detox and withdrawal management) 
• Eating disorders 
• Mental health diagnoses 

 Day-to-day responsibilities include: 

•  Conducting assessments and monitoring medical stability throughout the shift 
• Administering medications, including narcotics, using sound clinical judgment 
• Utilizing standardized tools including CIWA, COWS, and RASS scales 
• Communicating client concerns and changes in condition to providers 
• Documenting thoroughly in the electronic medical record (EMR) system 
• Supporting clients through de-escalation and therapeutic engagement 
• Performing blood draws, urinalysis collection, and vital signs as ordered 
• Completing admission and discharge paperwork 
• Participating in treatment team meetings and monthly nursing meetings 

Qualifications 

• Active RN or LPN license in Michigan (required) 
• Current CPR/BLS Certification (required) 
• Prior experience in substance use disorder or eating disorder treatment (preferred)

• Proficiency with EMR systems and general computer programs 

Physical Requirements
